ASCEND South Side is our first location, which opened on March 15, 2017. Since day one, the space became a central gathering place for Pittsburgh's growing and vibrant climbing community.
This bouldering-centric climbing facility is all housed within an expansive second floor space with a panoramic view of the city from Pittsburgh's South Side. Beyond bouldering, ASCEND offers modest roped climbing with a mix of auto-belays and top-ropes.

Bradford House Museum
Step over the threshold of the Bradford House Museum and into imagined life in late 18 th century America – the scurry of servants, the conversations of David Bradford and his clients in the parlor, the hushed chatter of ladies examining a bolt of crimson silk. Docents dressed in 18 th century clothing entertain and inform as they detail the structure itself, from its thick stone walls, original mahogany banister, and twelve-foot ceilings to its antique Chippendale and Hepplewhite furnishings.
It is the doings of the Whiskey Rebellion (a grassroots challenge to the newly-formed federal government), though, that provides the mystique. Did David Bradford and his colleagues really examine stolen mail at the dining room table? What brought the young United States to the brink of civil war between East and West? Why was the tax on whiskey such a flashpoint? Think on these things as you stroll through our new Whiskey Rebellion Education and Visitor Center. We are living history on Main.
Additionally, the Bradford House Museum is located on the Historic National Road, and within blocks of the museum, there are two whiskey distilleries, a craft beer distillery and a winery. So, come spend the day in downtown Washington, PA, as we remember the Whiskey Rebellion.

Cruisin’ Tikis Pittsburgh offers 2 hour sightseeing charters on the Three Rivers. Our 2 hour sightseeing cruises are $410.00 for up to six people. Each of our tiki boats can only hold up to six guests due to U.S. Coast Guard regulations. There are no exceptions. For groups of up to 12 people, we have two identical size boats that can be tied together. For groups of up to 18 people, we have three boats to accommodate your larger group (unfortunately, we cannot tie three boats together). We do not have larger boats for larger groups. Charters board on Pittsburgh's North Shore, near PNC Park, or at our Station Square Marina location. Cruises will include spectacular photo opportunities from the water of iconic Pittsburgh landmarks and local points of interest. Each of Our Cruisin’ Tiki boats carry up to a maximum of six people, along with an experienced, fully licensed Coast Guard licensed Captain. *We do not offer "per seat" or individual seats.
